Steven Kay, is the founding member of San Francisco based law firm, Kay & Merkle, LLP, an eight member firm specializing in real estate and business transactions, and estate planning. Mr. Kay has been representing and advising clients in real estate, business transactions and sports matters for over four decades. Mr. Kay shares office space with former Mayor Willie L. Brown, Jr. since Mr. Brown's exit from public life in 2004, and together they represent clients in San Francisco and throughout the State of California in a myriad of matters including gaming and transportation. Mr. Bercovich specializes in a variety of commercial transactions and maintains subspecialties in real estate leasing and sales transactions and in matters relating to the retail automotive industry. John W. Merkle, admitted to California bar, 1975; Education: University of California at Davis (B.S., 1971); University of San Diego (J.D., 1974); New York University (LL.M. in Taxation, 1975). Mr. Merkle specializes in a variety of transactional matters with an emphasis on tax related matters.

Lionel T. Aiken, admitted to California bar, 1966; Education: University of the Pacific (A.B., 1963), Hastings College of Law, University of California (LL.B, 1966). Mr. Aiken is admitted to practice before the United States District Court, Northern District of California and the United States Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. Mr. Aiken specializes in general, corporate, real estate law and civil litigation.

Alan J. Silver, admitted to California bar, 1977; Education: University of California (A.B., 1974); Golden Gate University (J.D., 1977). Mr. Silver is a California State Bar Certified Specialist in Probate, Estate Planning and Trust Law and specializes in estate planning, estate and trust administration, and related matters.

Douglas A. Marshall, admitted to California bar, 1979; Education: University of California at Davis (A.B., 1972); California Western School of Law (J.D., 1979). Mr. Marshall specializes in commercial litigation and is admitted to practice before all California State Courts, the United States District Courts for the Northern, Eastern and Central Districts of California, the District of Utah, and the United States Ninth and Tenth Circuit Courts of Appeal.

Angele C. Solano, admitted to California bar, 2001; Education: Occidental College (A.B., 1993); Yale University Graduate School of Arts and Sciences (M.A., 1998); Stanford Law School (J.D., 2001). Ms. Solano specializes in real estate transactions and general business matters.
